Do not promise a refund or guarantee anything on behalf of the merchant. You have no authority to issue refunds. Keep a list of merchant support contacts for each program you promote. When a refund issue arises, you can quickly connect the customer to the right person. Good customer service for the small number of refund requests builds trust and leads to repeat sales from the same customer on other products.
